Having taught for over 25 years, one thing is clear to me: you can’t actually ‘teach’ anyone anything. In fact, each person teaches themselves. YOU are your teacher! Yes, others may inspire you and offer you important information and perspectives. Yet it’s up to you to integrate it all. You are the person who makes it real for your life. Today, pause to give yourself Gratitude as your true teacher in life!

Ultimately you teach things to yourself. You may get information from other people, you may get help and encouragement, but nobody can actually download information into your brain. It's you who really teaches yourself. So the month of November is one of gratitude.

And I would like you to just say thank you to yourself for being your own teacher and for always striving to be your best teacher for yourself. Because ultimately you are really your only teacher. Think about that for a little while and also think about, you know, how can you be an even better teacher for yourself? Sometimes we're very harsh on ourselves and we treat ourselves in a way that we wouldn't treat others.

And we have less patience, less kindness, less imagination, how we might approach our own situations versus others. So think of yourself instead as your teacher and how can you be your very best teacher towards yourself, constantly evolving in that way. And also send yourself great gratitude because you've taught yourself a lot over the past years and just feel that, feel that in your heart and let it sink in and notice what it does for you in terms of giving you energy, in terms of giving you more confidence, more self trust.
