Finding your voice in the first place may seem like a long or advanced process. Not so! The clues to your unique style surround you at this very moment.

Hi, this is Diana. And Bright Knowledge instants give you one thing you can do today to move your creativity ahead. And today I want to talk about finding your style. When we talk about finding our voice, which is a very common thing in music, in writing, finding your style of painting, your style of dancing, whatever word we use for finding that essential essence of yourself, it can seem kind of elusive how to actually find your voice.

Here's the thing. There are so many clues out there already right now for you. And those clues are, what are you attracted to? What do you love? As you notice what you love, those things together make your style. So for example, for myself, when I hear medieval music, there's just something I love about it. I am so pulled by it, I deny it. And I may not feel that way about other genres of music, and that's absolutely fine.

But those aren't my style, which is perfect. They're somebody else's style. And as I notice other types of music or philosophy that draw me in, this all gets pulled together to my unique constellation of voice. So notice, what is it today that you're really loving? You see, maybe a beautiful color. You hear a sound, Perhaps if you're a cook, a certain flavor is really popping out at you.

What are the things that you love, love, love? And I'd love you to put them into your practice journal. Whether that again, be a post it or something fancy or on your phone, you might be making notes as you go about your day. Oh, I just. I saw this. I saw this beautiful picture. I smelt this beautiful smell. Notice these things. These are your clues to your style.
